What we do


Our Youth Strength & Speed coaching sessions are designed specifically for boys and girls aged 9-12years and 12 years+ who want to become faster, stronger, more confident, and better prepared for sport — and life.

Whether your child is:

  • Playing football, rugby, tennis, netball or any sport, and wants to perform at a higher level

  • Looking to improve strength, speed, coordination, and injury resilience

  • Keen to build fitness in a safe, structured, and motivating environment

  • Or simply full of energy and ready to channel it the right way…

These sessions provide the ideal foundation.

Led by experienced coaches — who have worked with the likes of England (and Lions) Rugby players, Under 16’s national football, Premiership and Championship football academies and senior teams, and various individual sport athletes — our programme delivers age-appropriate training that’s fun, challenging, and proven to help young athletes thrive.

We focus on the fundamentals: proper movement, good technique, consistency, and confidence. Perfect for all sports and abilities, from grassroots players to academy hopefuls.

Expert Coaching - Backed by Experience, Built for Results

Our youth programme is delivered by highly qualified S&C coaches who understand how to train young athletes safely, effectively, and with purpose. With real-world experience , our team brings elite-level knowledge to every session, tailored to suit the needs of growing teens.

We offer two coaching formats:

Small Group Training

High-energy sessions with a maximum of 6 athletes, allowing for personal attention, team motivation, and structured progress tracking.

Perfect for building movement skills, strength, speed, and resilience — all in a fun and social environment.

Sessions are based on age, with 9-12yrs and 12yrs+ times running throughout the week. After a free trial session, everything is included for £16 per session.

1-2-1 Coaching

For young athletes wanting more focused attention or working towards specific goals (e.g. returning from injury, preparing for trials, or refining technique), we offer individual sessions built entirely around their needs. These begin with a free 30-minute consultation where accompanied by a parent, followed by a comprehensive assessment session booked for a later date. To work 1-2-1 with an expert EPT Lab Coach, youth packages start at £45 per week. For 1-2-1 youth sessions please fill out the enquiry form at the bottom of this page.

Whatever the format, your child will be coached the right way — with movement quality, safety, and confidence at the heart of everything we do.

  • Yes — we have a comfortable sofa area (with free coffee) where you’re welcome to sit and watch the session. Or even better, you might be interested in using that time to work 1-2-1 with one of our personal trainers.

  • Absolutely. Our programme is specifically designed for young athletes and led by highly qualified coaches who understand how to train growing bodies safely. We focus on movement quality, and building more resilient athletes.

  • We identify and strengthen key areas like balance, coordination, speed, strength, and posture — which are often overlooked in team training. By building these foundations, your child can perform better, move more confidently, and reduce their risk of injury.

  • We cap each group at 8 athletes to ensure every child gets the attention and coaching they need to progress.
